Chronically ill citizen-scientists and an intrepid journalist expose the PACE trial, a court battle, angry disputes between scientists, and top UK medical institutions fight turn against each-other.
Thank you so much for this informative series. It’s the best precis of the PACE trial fraud I’ve ever read. It seems the authors of the trial were backed by very powerful interests, indeed. I hope someone(s) looks into that.
Thanks! I very much agree about the powerful interests. When I was researching this I made attempts to get my head around the lobbying and manouevering that went on behind the scenes. There is some information out there but it's murky and complex, and making sense of it was a bit too much for me. It needs a proper journalist or researcher to look into it!

Well, you’ve done a great job.
One small correction: “The PACE trial’s principle investigators contacted the Journal of Health Psychology” should read “principal”.
Thanks for catching it! I've updated the article.
